Among the 50 largest companies in the Baltics are 28 Lithuanian companies.
The TOP-50 companies have a combined turnover of EUR 54.8 billion - 67% of this amount (EUR 36.836 billion) is accounted for by the turnover of Lithuanian companies, although the number of Lithuanian companies in the ranking amounts to 56%.
The number of Latvian companies in the ranking amounts to 16%, and their total turnover is EUR 9.185 billion (16.7%).
Estonian companies account for 28% of the ranking, with a total turnover of EUR 8.812 billion (16%).
The total profit generated by the companies in the TOP-50 list remained almost unchanged last year at €2.049 billion compared to €2.044 billion in 2020.
Mindaugas Sventickas, CEO of Coface Baltics, pointed out that Estonian companies grew the fastest last year, with a 52% increase in turnover. Latvian companies grew by 16.9% and Lithuanian companies by 14%.
